Premise

'MEMORABILIA' is a field recording in garment form. Printed for the 2025 Original Culture Festival, this tee captures more than an event, it archives a cultural moment. A gathering of community, collaboration, music, and fashion, woven together with the memory of the late Rowan Forrester, aka Rhino Selekta (RIP). A memorable day & good music you can wear, it holds the energy of a day worth remembering.

Design Notes

Cut from 200gsm 100% jersey cotton for a balance of comfort and structure, the tee features AYMSK’s sketch-style illustration of a DJ in motion, drawn with the immediacy of live capture. Surrounding the figure, hand-scrawled typography lists Original Culture Festival, Priory Country Park, and Bedford in vibrant, reggae-inspired colour tones. 

Limited to 20 units, each one is hand-printed, with some carrying intentional misprints, embracing the raw, imperfect nature of live culture where no two moments are ever the same.

The Symbolism

• Illustration: The DJ at the decks becomes a stand-in for all creators who channel energy into a crowd, moving between technical precision and pure instinct.

• Colour: Red, yellow, and green nod to cultural heritage and musical lineage, grounding the design in a visual language that’s instantly recognisable at festivals and block parties.

• Typographic Style: Loose, off-angle, and handwritten — a direct rejection of digital perfection, mirroring the hand-to-hand spread of flyers, posters, and mixtapes.
